Viewing content on the BrightTALK app

The BrightTALK apps for iOS and Android give you on-the-go access to your subscribed BrightTALK Channels. You can watch webinars live or download webinars to your iOS or Android device over a mobile data or WiFi connection, then view them when it’s most convenient - whether you have an internet connection or not.

 

Here’s how it works:

1. First, if you haven’t already, you'll need to create a BrightTALK account.

2. When you open the app for the first time on your mobile device, you will be prompted to log in. Use your account login details (the same account details as your web login)

3. Once you’re logged in, you will be shown the list of Channels to which you subscribed on the website. At the moment, it is not possible to subscribe to new channels from within the app, so we suggest subscribing to your favourite Channel ahead of time.

5. By selecting a Channel, you can access and watch any of their webinars and videos.

6. When you select the webinar you want to view, the description will appear. 
You can then choose whether to play it now or download it for offline viewing.

Note: Some webinars may appear in the list, but may not be available for playback or download due to technical limitations.

7. If you choose to download a webinar, it will be added to the “Downloads” list. 
Select “Downloads” to view your download queue.

8. Once the webinar has finished downloading, select it to watch.
It will play whether or not you have an internet connection available.

9. You can also view live webinars from the app by navigating to the "Home" tab, you'll see the word LIVE above any webinar live at that time.
