Series Reports Field Glossary

The Series area in BrightTALK Central provides three report types.  This glossary will explain what each field in each report means.  For a high-level overview of the reports, please see this article.

 

Attendee list fields

Field

Definition

Date/time of attendance (UTC)

The date and time of this lead's first interaction with your Series.  This can be either a registration or a viewing.

First name

The first name of the lead

Last name

The last name of the lead

Email

The email of the lead.

Telephone

The lead's telephone number.  

Mobile phone number

The lead's mobile phone number.  

Job title

The job title of the lead.

Job level

The job level of this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Company

The company name for this lead.

Company size

The company size for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Industry

The industry value for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Country

The country for this lead. This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

State

The state, province, or region for this lead.  If it's in the US or Canada, will be the full name of the State/Province.  Otherwise will be the two or three-letter code for that State/Province/Region.

City

The city value for this lead.  Note: not available on all leads.

Postal Code

The postal code value for this lead.  Note: not available on all leads.

Pre-registrations

The number of unique registrations on sessions in this series.

Views

The number of unique views on sessions in this series.

Viewing duration

The total viewing duration - both live and on-demand - for this series.

Attendance source

Summary field using the "UTM Source" value in the "Attendance URL."  Attempts to indicate the source of the lead's initial interaction (i.e. what drove them to this event for the first time).

Attendance URL

The URL from their first interaction- i.e. what link did they click on their initial signup for this series.  Useful for attribution purposes.

 

Activity report fields

Date/time of last activity

The date and time of this lead's last activity for this specific session in a Series.  Could be a registration or viewing.

First name

The first name of the lead

Last name

The last name of the lead

Email

The email of the lead.

Telephone

The lead's telephone number.  

Job title

The job title of the lead.

Job level

The job level of this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Company

The company name for this lead.

Company size

The company size for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Industry

The industry value for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Country

The country for this lead. This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

State

The state, province, or region for this lead.  If it's in the US or Canada, will be the full name of the State/Province.  Otherwise will be the two or three-letter code for that State/Province/Region.

City

The city value for this lead.  Note: not available on all leads.

Postal Code

The postal code value for this lead.  Note: not available on all leads.

Session title

The title of the Talk, Replay, or Video this lead engaged with.

Pre-registered?

Whether or not the lead registered for this session before the live date/time.

Last activity type

The last activity this lead performed in this session.  Potential values are: 'Pre-registered', 'Live', and 'Recorded'

Total viewing duration

The total amount of viewing time this lead has spent watching this session both live and on-demand.

Live viewing duration

The total amount of viewing time this lead has spent watching this session live.

Recorded viewing duration

The total amount of viewing time this lead has spent watching this session on-demand.

Source

Summary field using the "UTM Source" value in the "First activity URL."  Attempts to indicate the source of the lead's initial interaction on this specific session (i.e. who or what drove them to register or view this session for the first time).

First activity URL

The URL from the lead's first interaction with this content.  Can be either a registration or viewing.

Last activity URL

The URL from the lead's last interaction with this content.  Can be either a registration or viewing.  Note: If the lead has only one interaction, this will be the same value as the "First activity URL".

Campaign reference

The text value for the "Campaign reference" field set for this particular session.  This can be configured when creating or editing a Talk, Replay, or Video.

Feedback

Feedback comments left by the lead for this session.

Rating

The Rating given by the lead for this session- will be a range of 1-5.

Question(s)

All questions asked by the lead for this session.  Will also indicate if the question was answered during the live presentation.

Attachment(s)

All attachments downloaded or clicked by the lead for this session.

Votes

All vote questions and answers given by the lead for this session.

The date and time of this lead's last activity for this specific session in a Series.  Could be a registration or viewing.

First name

The first name of the lead

Last name

The last name of the lead

Email

The email of the lead.

Telephone

The lead's telephone number.  

Job title

The job title of the lead.

Job level

The job level of this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Company

The company name for this lead.

Company size

The company size for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Industry

The industry value for this lead.  This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

Country

The country for this lead. This is a picklist field- the values can be found HERE.

The viewing duration for this specific interaction.  Note: will be blank for any non-viewing activities.

Feedback

The feedback comment left during this interaction.

Rating

The rating left during this interaction.  Will be a score between 1 and 5.

Question

The question asked during this interaction.

Attachment

The specific attachment downloaded or clicked during this interaction.

Vote question

The vote question the lead responded to

Vote answer

The answer the lead gave for the vote question.

Activity URL

The URL clicked for this specific engagement.

Campaign reference

The text value for the "Campaign reference" field set for this particular session.  This can be configured when creating or editing a Talk, Replay, or Video.
