With the launch of our new "Intent Lead" and "Insights" products, BrightTALK now provides two new metrics for measuring the engagement of a lead. Here is a quick breakdown on how these two scores work:
How we measure "Account Intent Score"
How we measure "Individual Intent Score"
How we measure "Account Intent Score"
BrightTALK's Account Intent Score ranges from 0-100. Only the most engaged companies receive a score for engagement on the topics selected. The score is calculated based on the engagement levels by people from this company. The score can also be increased by a 'surging effect' - this is when the last 30 days of engagement on the topics selected is significantly higher than the previous 90 days of engagement.
In this example, two professionals at ACME corporation watched 3 webinars on the topics selected last week. Because of the volume and recency of their engagement and because colleagues from their company are watching content on the same topics, ACME received a score of 85.
How we measure "Individual Intent Score"
BrightTALK's Individual Intent Score ranges from 0-100. Only the most engaged viewers receive a score for engagement on the topics selected. The score is calculated based on the amount of content watched and the duration and recency of the viewing. The score can also be increased by a 'surging effect' - this is when the last 30 days of engagement on the topics selected is significantly higher than the previous 90 days of engagement.
In this example, John Green watched 2 webinars on the topics selected last week. Because of the volume and recency of his engagement and because the engagement level is higher than usual, he received a score of 88.
