Eloqua: Using Custom Objects to track webinar activity

While setting up the BrightTALK Connector for Eloqua, we recommend using a Custom Object to capture webinar activity.  While the Eloqua contact record is great for static values like first name, last name, or email, the Custom Objects works best for values that are constantly updating.


When creating a Custom Object, you'll want to use the "Webcast Activity ID" field as your Unique Code field.  This will ensure that Eloqua correctly captures each new lead activity in BrightTALK:
