Below you will find frequently asked questions about the re-integration.
- Will everyone need to re-integrate?
Yes, all connectors regardless of type will need to reintegrate. BrightTALK will be able to migrate from POST connectors without client involvement though as this doesn't require authentication.
- What if I do not want to re-integrate?
The connector will stop working at the end of December 2024, at that point, your data will stop flowing for all connected channels and campaigns.
- When do I need to re-integrate by?
You will need to reintegrate as soon as possible.
- Can we still map all of the same fields?
Yes. BrightTALK will be migrating your existing mapping over to the new integration.
- What connectors will you be supporting?

TBD: Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales CRM and SFDC Marketing Cloud
Not supporting: The AppExchange App for Salesforce. This will be replaced with the normal SFDC integration.
- What will re-integration look like?
BrightTALK will send you a link to "re-authenticate." This will be a one-step process that should take 1-2 minutes.
BrightTALK will then migrate the field mappings for you, we will then work with you to test your integration.
If you use Marketo, BrightTALK will migrate your program mappings as well.
- Will there be any affect on my current data or will this seamlessly transition?
There shouldn’t be any affect on your data as this should be a seamless transition.
- Can I add additional fields?
We will be migrating your fields as is- you are able to change those field mappings if you'd like, but we are not adding or removing any existing fields
- How long will re-integration take?
Your involvement would be around 3-5 minutes. The authentication process is very quick
- Is the re-integration secure?
Yes, it is SOC2 certified.
- Who in my company should be involved in the re-integration?
Your admins in the respective systems- i.e. HubSpot Admin, Marketo Admin, etc, should be involved. Those roles are the only ones typically able to do authentication
